Photographers I Find Cool, In No Particular Order

1. Edweard Muybridge (for obvious reasons)

2. Li Wei-- reminds me of Magritte, sans bowler hats

3. Diane Arbus --I like the documentary style

4. Bob Langrish -- one of the best horse photographers

5. Jacques Cousteau (couldn't find pictures I'm sure 100% are by him and don't have my books with me, but here is one of him)

6. I cannot for the life of me remember who this person was (check back later in case I find out?) but s/he photographed people of different backgrounds with all their belongings outside their homes. Neat project. Peter Menzel, Material World

7. Takashi Amano -- designs and photographs amazing fishtank landscapes

8. Harry Callahan -- of the take-lots-of-pictures-every-day-but-only-print-a-few school.

9. William Eggleston -- not only the coolest name ever, but I also like his use of color

10. Dorothea Lange

Common theme: documentary-esque?

Stupid internet and its slowness. Here are pictures from my last lesson this summer before leaving for school. Definitely not perfect by any means, but better than the beginning of this summer fer sure. Sigh, now I will regress during the year and start all over next summer, haha.

End jump/angle-ish thing...did it on kind of a circle off the right lead, circled around twice, then the 2rd time turned left and went up the long side to another angle.

Second angle

Then looped around to white gate

Don't remember the rest of the course after 3 weeks (have it written down somewhere) but this is the 2nd jump in an angle line. Apparently I have a "thing" about oxers and so was not expecting him to jump this the first try, haha. But he did. Dunno why I have issues with the plain little oxer at the end of the outside line, but not the (still tiny baby jump) fancy angle one.
image

First jump in the outside line, coming to the oxer I fell into the week before which he refused once this time (so no pics of it cuz trainer knew she'd have to coach me thru the refusalimage)
image

End jump again. Like this pic because you can tell that I'm actually looking for my left turn rather than just waiting til he gets to the rail and hoping he turns the right way
image

White gate again, came in off center but pony is oh so cute

Coming up to the liverpool, trying to think about NOT leaning forward before he even takes off!

Bit of a leap, oops.

A bit more together this time
